DIMMITT — Haidyn Scott had 14 kills and 21 digs, leading Cooper past River Road, 25-13, 26-24, 25-20, on Monday night in Class 3A bi-district volleyball action.
Torey Kay and Erin Smilgin each had 17 assists for Cooper (25-11). Kay’s line also included eight kills, five digs and three aces, and Smilgin added six digs, four aces and a kill.
The Lady Pirates await the winner of a match today between Big Spring and Fort Stockton at Odessa College. Cooper beat Big Spring in the regional quarterfinals last year to advance to the regional tournament.
